Mills Basis A & B is a highly concentrated two-part base nutrient developed to provide complete and balanced plant nutrition throughout both vegetative growth and flowering. Made from high-quality ingredients with a focus on bioavailability, Basis A & B supplies the essential macro- and micronutrients required for consistent and vigorous plant development.

Unlike nutrient programs that require separate Grow and Bloom base fertilizers, Basis A & B is used throughout the complete cultivation cycle. The dosage is simply adjusted according to the plant’s development stage and nutritional requirements.

Basis A provides nitrogen, calcium, premium-grade chelated iron and other essential elements. Calcium supports cell division and strong plant structure, while iron plays an important role in chlorophyll production and healthy plant metabolism.

Basis B provides phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and additional essential elements. Magnesium is a central component of chlorophyll and therefore plays a fundamental role in photosynthesis, while phosphorus and potassium support root development, energy transfer, flowering and overall plant performance.

Application

• Always use Basis A and Basis B in equal amounts
• Add Basis A to the irrigation water first and mix thoroughly
• Add the same amount of Basis B only after Basis A has been completely mixed
• Never mix concentrated Basis A and Basis B directly together
• Dosage varies according to plant development from approximately 1–4 ml of each component per litre of water

Vegetative Growth

• Early growth: 1 ml Basis A + 1 ml Basis B per litre of water
• Equivalent to 10 ml A + 10 ml B per 10 L water
• Increase progressively to approximately 2 ml A + 2 ml B per litre as plants develop
• Equivalent to 20 ml A + 20 ml B per 10 L water

Flowering

• Start flowering at approximately 2.5 ml A + 2.5 ml B per litre of water
• Equivalent to 25 ml A + 25 ml B per 10 L water
• Increase progressively according to plant requirements
• Main flowering: approximately 3 ml A + 3 ml B per litre
• Equivalent to 30 ml A + 30 ml B per 10 L water
• Maximum intensive flowering dosage: approximately 3.5–4 ml A + 3.5–4 ml B per litre
• Equivalent to approximately 35–40 ml A + 35–40 ml B per 10 L water

• Recommended final nutrient solution pH: approximately 5.8–6.2
• Monitor EC and adjust nutrient strength according to crop requirements, water quality and growing conditions
• Follow the current Mills feeding schedule for precise week-by-week application

Anwendung

• Basis A und Basis B immer in gleicher Menge verwenden
