Coir Grow Cubes are compressed coconut coir propagation cubes designed to provide young plants with a balanced growing environment during germination, rooting and early development.

Each cube measures 10 × 10 cm and is supplied in a compressed form. After water is added, the coir expands and creates a lightweight growing medium with a balanced combination of moisture retention and air availability.

This air-to-water balance provides favourable conditions for healthy root development while helping young plants establish quickly.

Each cube is enclosed in a biodegradable wrap. Developing roots can grow directly through the surrounding material, allowing the complete cube to be transplanted without removing the wrap.

This reduces disturbance to the root system during transplantation and eliminates the need for plastic pots or plastic propagation sleeves.

A pre-formed opening in the top of the cube is designed to accommodate compatible coir pellets. Seedlings started in a coir pellet can therefore be transferred directly into the larger cube as they develop.

The cubes can also be used directly for larger seeds such as tomatoes, sunflowers, broad beans and runner beans.

In addition to seed propagation, Coir Grow Cubes are suitable for rooting cuttings and growing plug plants before transplantation into their final growing environment.

Once sufficiently developed, the complete cube can be planted into the garden, a larger coir grow bag or a compatible planter without disturbing the established root system.

The coir substrate is completely peat-free, while the biodegradable construction provides an environmentally conscious alternative to conventional plastic-based propagation systems.

Kokos-Anzuchtwürfel

Die Coir Grow Cubes sind komprimierte Kokos-Anzuchtwürfel, die jungen Pflanzen während der Keimung, Bewurzelung und frühen Entwicklungsphase eine ausgewogene Wachstumsumgebung bieten.

Jeder Würfel misst 10 × 10 cm und wird in komprimierter Form geliefert. Nach Zugabe von Wasser expandiert das Kokossubstrat und bildet ein leichtes Kultursubstrat mit einem ausgewogenen Verhältnis zwischen Wasserspeicherung und Luftverfügbarkeit.

Dieses Luft-Wasser-Verhältnis schafft günstige Bedingungen für eine gesunde Wurzelentwicklung und unterstützt ein schnelles Anwachsen der Jungpflanzen.

Jeder Würfel ist von einer biologisch abbaubaren Hülle umgeben. Die sich entwickelnden Wurzeln können direkt durch das umgebende Material wachsen, sodass der komplette Würfel ohne Entfernung der Hülle umgepflanzt werden kann.

Dadurch wird das Wurzelsystem beim Umpflanzen weniger gestört und der Einsatz von Kunststofftöpfen oder Kunststoff-Anzuchthüllen kann vermieden werden.

Eine vorgeformte Öffnung an der Oberseite des Würfels ist für kompatible Kokos-Anzuchtpellets vorgesehen. In einem Kokospellet vorgezogene Jungpflanzen können dadurch während ihrer weiteren Entwicklung direkt in den grösseren Würfel umgesetzt werden.

Die Würfel können ebenfalls direkt für grössere Samen wie Tomaten, Sonnenblumen, Ackerbohnen und Stangenbohnen verwendet werden.

Neben der Samenanzucht eignen sich Coir Grow Cubes auch zur Bewurzelung von Stecklingen und zum Weiterkultivieren von Jungpflanzen vor dem Umpflanzen in die endgültige Kulturumgebung.

Nach ausreichender Entwicklung kann der komplette Würfel in den Garten, einen grösseren Kokos-Growbag oder einen kompatiblen Pflanzbehälter eingesetzt werden, ohne das etablierte Wurzelsystem unnötig zu stören.

Das Kokossubstrat ist vollständig torffrei und die biologisch abbaubare Konstruktion bietet eine umweltbewusste Alternative zu herkömmlichen kunststoffbasierten Vermehrungssystemen.
